Video game is well thought-out as a social experience by tradition. Multiplayer video games are played cooperatively or competitively by “hotseating” or by using multiple input devices. Most of the commercial video games consoles can be played by two controller inputs, where as some game have the ability to expand the number of input controllers to four, eight or a maximum of twelve by using the additional adapters such as “multitap“.
Arcade games are multiplayer games which involve two to four players with a top-down view and allow the players to sit contradictory to one another. Non-PC based video games (referred as early computer games) featured multiplayer support. A personal computer system features with a minimum of two game ports. Where in the PC based games provides only a lower availability in the multiplayer games for the reason that they have some technical boundaries. They either contain no game port or have only one port.
