I have three young children, and buying toys is a costly experience, especially when birthdays or Christmas are on their way. In the past, my wife and I had shopped at various high street stores, and like everyone else, we had to stick to a budget. It seemed we were getting far less for our money in the past few months, though.
One day, I was online and found a website that compares the prices of them, and just for fun I looked at how much a particular toy, which we’d bought the previous weekend, would have cost in other stores and on the Internet. It had cost us £45, but I found several places charging far less, one of which was selling it for just £27.
In future, we will always check the web first, because there’s no point paying through the nose for anything, particularly when it comes to toys.
